Over 10 tons of snow in 2002!!
The Fourth Annual Holiday Snow Party was held at Camp Hollywoodland at the top of Bronson
Canyon on Saturday, December 13, 2003 (11:30 AM - 2:30 PM). This very special event is shared with several
neighboring homeowners associations in the Hollywood Hills area.
Kids bring safe sliding gear and snow dishes! Warm snow play gear
is recommended including waterproof pants, gloves and sunscreen.
There is always one very easy slope for little ones under 5 years old.
Parents with 1-2 year olds will ride the slope holding their little one
in their laps.
Arts and crafts, music and food add to the fun. A small fee is
charged for entrance into this wonderful winter wonderland and
participants should bring
some cash. This year there was some great food and drinks
to buy for lunch.
The goal of the event is to have fun and get to know
other neighbors. The organizers try every year to just break even with
the cost of the event. In the past the HKCC has participated with a
generous donation and a few volunteers.
